Rock

On the vertical calcareous walls of the throats and of the main mountainous relief’s of the district many streets of rock, both in the classical mountaineering style and in the modern sporting climb have been opened during the years. Some areas are considered as some "gymnasiums" assiduously frequented for training and practice. Near Genga Stazione’s sports facilities was built an artificial structure for the climb, seat of national competitions.

In a few areas the Alpine activity is regulated to avoid trouble to the predaceous that nests on the walls. Monte Revellone’s rock’s gymnasium that towers above the ancient village of Castelletta is the most complete because there are a lot of rock’s ways that are full of passionate people from every part of Italy. In Castelletta Park’s House, conventions and courses are periodically developed on the subject of the sporting climb.
